Tuatara Pilsner and Tuatara IPA Pale Ale
(From the Pipi Taps in Summer)

Locally brewed at Reikorangi on the Kapiti Coast north of Wellington Tuatara Pilsner (5%) has consistently won awards and become the top-selling beer of the Tuatara brewery. The brewer lives locally in Island Bay.

Such is the success of the product the Brewerytrebled its size in 2008. IPA (India Pale Ale 5%) rates Number 2 on their sales figures, with Pilsner leading.

Their latest addition "Helles" caters for smooth lager drinkers whilst Hefe has strong appeal to international visitors familiar with this type of beer.

A Dutch 5% pale lager (Pilsner) produced since 1864 it is now rated the world's number 1 premium beer. Brewed under licence by DB, NZ. 100% Pilsner malts are carefully blended with European hops, and the famous 'A' yeast, giving Heineken a distinctive yet mild flavour.

Tiger

One of Asia's top selling lager beers Tiger (5%) has a mild aroma, clean flavour with a high level of sweetness and a trace of hop bitterness. A consistent International Awards winner Tiger beer has won over 30 international Gold medals for taste and quality including "Best Lager in the World" at the 1998 Brewing Industry International Awards.

Steinlager Pure

Launched in May 2007 this 5% smooth flavoured Lager is fast becoming a big seller nationally and overseas with the emphasis on NZ ingredients of Just Water, malted barley, hops, yeast and being completely produced free of additives or preservatives.

Tui

Brewed at Mangatainoka near Palmerston North since 1889 comes this East India Pale Ale beer (4%). For a century draught Tui was primarily available in the Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa regions but a major expansion in the 1990s, couoled with humourous road-side billboards saw it rapidly become a top-selling beer throughout New Zealand.
